Shift the gears for Third Round of V12 Autocross Championship 2019

2019 V12 Autocross Championship’s third round is right around the corner. With the successful completion of first two rounds, V12 is getting the track set for the third round at Coimbatore.

V12 Autocross championship is a four-wheeler motorsport mainly the dirt track event series of South India; which is conducted as per the guidelines from the FMSCI for four-wheeler motorsports.

This championship has total five rounds. The first and second round were held on April 13th at Kakkoor, Kochi and on 5th May at Thodupuzha respectively.

The Third round is will be held at the ground opposite to Jenney’s Residency, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore on 9th June.

Online registration for the participation has already begun. The application for the standard entries will be accepted till 31st May 2019 and for the late entries, it will be accepted till 3rdJune 2019 with a late fee of INR 500 per entry.

The date and venue for the fourth and fifth round is yet to be announced.

This championship will have nine main categories viz., Up to 1150CC, Up to 1450CC, Up to 1650CC, 2 wheel drive Open (Diesel) ,4 wheel drive Open (Diesel) ,4 wheel drive Open (Petrol) Amateur Open Class, Ladies Open Class and V12 Open Class.

The main feature of this event is V12 Open Class category. The winner of V12 Open Class will be taking home INR 1,00,000 as price money along with the trophy.

2018 Championship had three rounds, which were held at Kakkoor, Kochi and Pala respectively. This year they are expecting more participation from the autocross racers.

V12 Race Solutions is a private limited company that undertakes the conception and the execution of all kinds of Motor Sport events in South India. It is headed by Varun C.V. who has over 11 years of experience in this field.

Autocross is a racing competition on a race track with unsealed surface (dirt, gravel or soil).Autocross started in the ends of 1940s in the United Kingdom as a club competition.
