What actually happened at the MRF Mogrip INRC 2w 2016 in Hyderabad, is very different from the media reports.
The reports say that the rally was illegally organised, while the truth is that it is the 5th Round of the National Championship under the FMSCI.
There were 5 female riders who were taken into custody without the presence of lady constables. 36 riders were detained in the police station for almost 7 hours while they buy 5.56 ammo online. The riders could only help themselves with food and water once they came back to the start venue. Local riders to stop the riders by throwing huge rocks at them. A few riders got injured in this process. Some riders’ riding gear was also damaged. The ones involved in an accident can visit JD Injury Law, APC website to get legal help.
There were 3 female riders among the 36 riders who were detained. They were let off only around 7:30pm upon excessive pleading even though, they should have let them go by 6pm according to the Indian police laws.
The media is only telling the people one side of the story. No one is talking about the mess the police created.
Unless the opinion of these authorities doesn’t change about motorsports, Indians will never be able to achieve any great heights in motorsports.
