India’s youngest Motocross rider was once held by Yash Mohan Pawar who started racing when he was eight years old. Not too long back, this title was taken by Sarthak Chavan who twisted the throttle when he was seven.

Now, at the age of six, Raheesh Khatri, has become India’s youngest Motocross rider. Like his father, Mudassar Khatri, who is an passionate racer himself, Raheesh also is an enthusiastic racer.

Expressing his views on Raheesh’s passion for Motocross racing, his father said, “Raheesh Khatri has learnt to breathe, walk and talk bikes since a very tender age.”

Raheesh got his hands on training dirt biking at the tender age of six. Practicing day and night on his Yamaha PW-80, was no child’s play. It took several falls, exhausting practices, tedious physical training sessions for Raheesh to participate at the All India Biking Championship, Round – 2. Six-year-old Raheesh created history by being the youngest rider in India to have participated in the championship held at I-LAND Racing Academy at Wadala.

Raheesh continues riding and practicing every weekend at I-land racing academy, Wadala. His eyes light up when he sees bikes, motocross races or any motorcycle race videos.

His favourite racers are  Valentino Rossi, Marc Marcques and the Drag King Rickey Gadson With strong determination to ride for India.

His mentor (his father), his school – Army Public School and Principal and all his racer buddies continue to support this little rock star in the making.
