MRF Tyres and JA Motorsport given full season drive

MRF Tyres and JA Motorsport announced that the winner of the 2016 MMSC-FMSCI MRF F1600 National racing championship will be awarded a full season drive in the 2016 MRF Challenge while the runner-up will get a free drive in one race in the MRF Challenge.

In addition MMSC also recently announced that winner of the MRF Formula 1600 series will be sent for the Mazda Road to Indy shootout, the winner of which will receive a scholarship of $200,000, and an opportunity to pursue a career in automotive engineering in the top engineering schools in the world. As has been the trend in the last two years, the MRF F1600 championship will begin in January, as the main support race for the 2015 MRF Challenge finale at the MMRT in Chennai from January 29 to 31.

The MRF F1600 championship will be 10 race series that will take place over five race weekends spread over the course of the year
