TVS Racing, the racing division of TVS Motor Company will become the first Indian automotive brand to participate in the legendary Dakar Rally, after an association with French motorcycle manufacturer Sherco for the event
Under the banner of Sherco TVS Rally Factory team, French riders Alain Dulcos and Fabien Planet ride in Dakar Rally 2015 the Sherco TVS team finished in the top 30. Alain Duclos riding a RTR 450 finished in 25th position while his teammate Fabien Planet, also piloting a Sherco TVS RTR 450, finished in 29th position
