Harith Noah won MRF SX-1 Championship 2018 a stiff challenge from CD Jinan

The MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship 2018 is a six-round of series for two-wheelers that also runs through Kochi,Goa, Coimbatore, Jaipur, Nasik and Vadodara.

Harith Noah won 2018 Championship title in SX1 Expert Class for TVS Racing, a stiff challenge from CD Jinan from Angata Racing

Round -1
The opening round of Championship held in Kochi on January 14 near at the CIAL Convention Centre

Harith Noah wins in the both motos of the SX1 Expert Class While CD Jinan unable to secure podium.

Overall point tally Noah emerged as the winner of the first round with points of 40 and Jinan earned 22 points

Round -2
Second round held in Goa on April 15 and Noah won the first moto back a stiff challenge from Goa’s Javed Shaikh and CD Jinan who finished in the second and third places respectively.

However Harith unable to secure podium in second moto, Kerala’s Saijith ES finished first, CD Jinan second and Javed Shaikh third

Overall point tally CD Jinan emerged as the winner of the second round with points of 32 and he has total championship points 54.

Meanwhile Harith extended his championship lead with 70 points that he earns from first two rounds 40 and 30 respectively

Round -3
After the break of two and a half months, the action resumed the third round of Championship at Coimbatore on first July with double win of Harith Noah

The championship leader did not have a good start in the first Moto He was lying third but accelerated hard to finish in first.

In the second Moto, he was wiser and raced to commanding win.

Championship runner-up CD Jinnan finished in the second and third places respectively in Moto1 and Moto2

Overall point tally of the championship after the three rounds, Harith have 110 points and Jinan have 86 points

Round -4
The fourth round of the championship held 9th of September in jaipur

CD Jinan rode to a resounding win by taking both the Motos to open up a solid challenge with the championship leader Harith Noah

Noah, who began the fourth round of the season with 110 points to 86 of Jinan, needed to win both Motos to solidify his position at the top, but the track conditions probably made it difficult for him to adjust to,

On the other hand Jinan, used his experience of riding his Dubai desert

After the fourth round of the championship Harith have 147 points and Jinan have 126 points

Round -5
Fifth round of the championship held in Nashik on November 25

Harith Noah won the first moto with a stiff challenge from CD Jinan and Rugved Barguje from TVS Racing who finished in the second and third places respectively.

However Harith unable to secure first in second moto, he finished thirdRugved Barguje finished first, CD jinan second

Overall point tally Rugved Barguje emerged as the winner of the round -5 of the SX-1 Foreign Open class

After the fifth round of the championship Harith have 182 points and Jinan have 160 points

Final Round
After a gap of eight years, the Vadodara city is witness the season-ending round of the MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship 2018 held at Akota stadium on December -2

Noah won the first moto and CD Jinan second,However Harith unable to secure first in second moto, he finished second CD jinan finished first

Overall point tally (points from six rounds) of the championship Harith emerged as the champion of the SX-1 Foreign Open class, with points of 219 and first runner-up by CD Jinan with points of 197

Harith said It’s been one of the toughest championship year with some bad luck and a few injuries. This win marks the 3rd SX1 title and the 5th national SX championship of my racing career.
