The entries for the event opened on 31st October, and the categories are already full with Auto cross getting 125 entries (till now), and will close at 140, Moto has got 84 entries (till now) and will close at 90, whereas off roading closes at 36.The event will run under the guidelines laid out by the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of India (FMSCI). This time too, the winners will walk away with cash prizes, certificates, merchandise and trophies. The safety partner of the event is Fortis Healthcare, whose paramedic team along with all first aid kits will be stationed at the venue.

Gulpreet Aulakh, COC of the event, said that the Sixth Hero Racing OYA Autocross, Motocross and Off-Road Challenge will be a test of the driver’s skill, and not just the power of his vehicle. “We have 18 chicanes over a 3-km track. This means that almost every 200 meters, the driver will have to negotiate a sharp double-bend. The race will be highly technical, and only the most skillful driver will be able to score high,” said Mr Aulakh, who is also the patron of Old Yadvindrians Association and founder of Team Chandigarh Adventure Sports (TCAS).

The Offroading Challenge will have seven obstacles this year. The difficulty quotient of the obstacle will increase at every level. For the Sixth Hero Racing OYA Autocross, Motocross and Off-Road Challenge, the entire scoring will be automated and transparent. “This year, we have down away with the timing system in off-roading. The automated point system will prevent any scoring lapses and will be accurate to the decimal point,” said Co-Founder TCAS, Mr Nikhil Jaspal.
