Nidhi Shukla, representing the CEAT team, won the title of Best Female rider at the 26th Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally held in Belapur in Navi Mumbai. Other CEAT team members, Pinkesh Thakkar and Manjit Singh won the S1: Above 80 upto 110cc – Two Stroke and S2: Above 110 upto 160cc – Two Stroke categories respectively.
The best Bhopal rider, Muzaafar Ali, and the Best Nashik Rider, Amit Belgaonkar were also from CEAT. This year, the ride witnessed participation from 47 riders from across the country. The 30-kilometre ride flagged off from K-star in Belapur and was covered with difficult terrains and challenging landscapes.
The rally was divided in 3 stages. From the start point, the riders made their way to Navi Mumbai region, where a special rally route had been chalked through the hilly terrain. Mud, gravel, stone, peaks, slush ,hard rocky terrain and sand sudden drops formed a part of the course.
Riders had to complete 3 laps of the stages that were made through the hills before the finishing line
