The MRF National Supercross Championships began on May 15. So far two rounds have taken place, the first round taking place in Bangalore, and the second on May 22 in Coimbatore.
Both the rounds saw the TVS team winning both the rounds, as its riders took home podium finishes. The next leg of the championships won’t be held till September this year in Chennai. Whether TVS can manage its podium finish streak remains to be seen.
So far, the TVS team is leading the 2011 MRF National Supercross Championships with a total of Aravind P. having amassed a total of 77 points, followed by teammate Pradeep with 69 points. The only privateer in the top 3 is Veer Patel having amassed 62 points in the championship and coming in third.
