Defending National Rally Champion R Natraj rode a brilliant race to win the MRF MoGrip FMSCI National 2-wheeler rally championship in Indore. beating his teammate Rujentha RE by 57 seconds in the overall category,
Natruj rode TVS RTR 450FX bike splendidly through the course that was mix of gravel and tarmac before the stages entered quarries in the rugged terrain of Chimer Hills located on Indore bypass road.
Natraj won two stages, the first and the third. while Rajendra bested his teammate in the second stage by 18 seconds Natthj was the lone rider to clock stages in under 15-minute barrier-he won SS1 in 14 minute 19 seconds and the third .
The rally is 17.11km long, which the riders will go over thrice to complete the distance.
“Indore was a revelation last year during National Supercross championship and also we got good response during National 2-wheeler rally we had to come back here this year again,” said Shyam Kothari, director of Godspeed Racing, the promoters of the championship
