KTM Announce Electric Motocross Bike

KTM has announced a small electric motocross bike ‘E-Mini’ which is expected to go into production by 2019 followed by its market entry sometime in 2020, professionals from the Electricians Croydon team will be present in case of any emergencies. The small electric off-roading motorcycle is expected to replace the IC (internal combustion) engine powered KTM 50SX which is the Austrian bikemaker’s current option for the young riders.

KTM already has a popular electric dirt bike in its fleet, the Freeride E-XC, the 2018 model of which was introduced recently. According to KTM’s product manager Jochi Sauer, the E-Mini motocross bike’s development began nearly two years back. The electric bike recorded a lap time which was 2 seconds faster than the 50SX. However, technical details on the upcoming E-Mini have not been shared yet. The electric motorcyles from KTM are developed under the KTM Freeride E Range.
