With a career spanning over 18 years, Ludovic has achieved remarkable success in both national and international arenas. Known for his precision, agility, and fearless racing style, he has become a prominent figure in the motocross community.

Ludovic’s journey began at a young age, inspired by the legendary supercross events in Paris. His dedication to the sport and rigorous training have led him to numerous podium finishes, including six AMA Supercross finals in America and multiple international supercross victories across Europe. As the French National Motocross 450 Champion, Ludovic has also left his mark on the MXGP World Championships.

Racing Background

  • How many years have you been riding supercross?

18 Years I start in 2006.

  • What inspired you to start supercross racing?

I from France and the supercross of Paris made me dream with all American rider.

  • What classes/categories do you compete in?

I ride in 250 and 450 class depend the event but both are pretty good.

  • Do you have any notable achievements or awards in supercross? Please list them.

I did 6 AMA Supercross finals in America on 250, podium in 250 and 450 SX tour in France, a lot of international supercross in Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Italy, France. I was French national motocross 450 champion and I put points in the world MXGP championships.

Indian Supercross Racing League

  • What motivated you to participate in the Indian Supercross Racing League?

I was directly interested about the Indian race last year especially because it was a Supercross race and in India, I wasn’t in this country and I love traveling around the world for racing.

  • How did you hear about the Indian Supercross Racing League?

I got an email from the organization and in Europe I ride in the same team as Jordi Tixier, we had talked about it and we were excited to go there.

  • What are your expectations from the Indian Supercross Racing League?

I had looked at the first year and it was looking professional and a nice event, the public was excited for the first India Supercross League. I hope to race in the 2025 India race.

Training and Preparation

  • How have you been preparing for the Indian Supercross Racing League?

I train myself all season with fitness and on the bike, it’s my job. I do it hard because I always want to do the best. Last week I was in Italy and I did a 450cc podium at the SX Contest.

  • Are there any specific challenges you anticipate racing in the Indian Supercross Racing League?

I want to be on the podium of the India race, it’s my personal challenge. I train for it all year.

  • Do you follow a specific diet or fitness regimen to enhance your performance?

Yes, I don’t eat sugar and take some supplements for my body, my rule is I must do a sport every day: fitness, riding, or recovery.

  • What kind of bike will you be riding in the Indian Supercross League? Please provide make and model.

I put my name in the 250 class this year. I have ridden on Kawasaki, Honda, and Triumph in Europe for different teams. Triumph is close to KTM and if I can choose my bike in India, KTM will be good but I can ride any bike.

Competition Experience

  • How many supercross races do you participate in each year?

With championships and without championships, like 25 supercross and a lot of motocross races.

  • What has been your most challenging race so far and why?

In 2020 I was in America and I organized all by myself with my mechanic. I was in the final at all races and with a stock engine. After that, I had some opportunities and in 2021 I got an offer from a team in America. That was cool to get this opportunity after a long way.

  • Do you have a favorite track or event? If so, which one and why?

Supercross is my favorite and specialty. I have my own track behind my house, I train a lot and I love riding. I’m pretty fast in the whoops section.

  • How do you prepare mentally for a race?

I have my mental coach and before a championship we do a lot of mental preparation and hypnosis.

Future Goals

  • What are your short-term goals in supercross?

Riding with my 100%. The last few years my results are getting better and better and I know I can do more, I feel it.

  • What are your long-term aspirations in the sport?

I’m a motocross trainer, I have my MX school. I will train a rider to be a pro supercross rider.

  • Are there any specific skills or techniques you are currently working on improving?

I ride fast on the track but I know in supercross you have to start first and be pretty fast in the whoops. This is where I work, I’m good now with 3 holeshots for 3 starts last weekend.

In the past Jeremy McGrath, but now Jett Lawrence.

  • Do you have any advice for beginners entering the sport?

If you like it, do it and don’t listen to those who want to tell you that you’re wasting your time.

  • Is there anything else you’d like to share about your supercross journey?

I started like a beginner and I did a lot, a lot, a lot of work. I’m pretty proud of where I’m now. Never give up.

 

Indian Experience

  • What are you looking forward to the most about visiting India for the Indian Supercross Racing League?

Seeing how the fans are with the riders and how the team works. I heard a lot of good things from last year and I am looking forward to 2025.

  • Have you experienced any Indian culture or cuisine? If so, what are your thoughts?

I’ve already tried it and I find it pretty good but very spicy. I think it will be the same once there.

  • Are there any places in India you plan to visit during your stay?

I hope to be able to visit the capital and the monuments there, the photos are very beautiful.
