India’s ARRC Round has forced for a change in the Venue and Date

There has been a slight change to the 2017 calendar of Asia Road Racing championship specifically pertaining to the Indian leg of the series Round 5.

The event originally slated to be held at the Buddh Circuit in New Delhi, the venue is not available due to circumstances so it will now take place at Chennai’s Madras Motor Race Track during the September 22-24 weekend The venue where the Asia Road Racing Championship races took place from 2009 until 2011 and in 2013.

The current season has four Indian riders competing in three different categories, with Ten10 Racing-backed Sarath Kumar riding in the SuperSport 600cc, while Rajiv Sethu is in the Asia Production Cup (250cc) – both racing for the RAMA Honda squad.

Elsewhere, Ahamed Kidwai Yaseen and Prabhu Arunagiri are competing in the Suzuki Asian Challenge category.
