The 19th edition of the MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship 2018 will be held in Coimbatore. This will be the 3rd round of the 6 rounds FMSCI National Supercross Championship

The event venue is opposite Jenneys Residency Avinashi Road, is getting bigger and brighter every year not only for the riders, but for the spectators too. This time, Pune’s Godspeed Racing, the organisers of the premier event, have roped in professional FMX riders Callum Shaw (New Zealand) and Shaun Webb (the United States) to give it a cracking start for the Coimbatore show.

“Besides some serious racing, we want to give the crowd, both big and small, some kind of entertainment,” said Shyam Kothari, director of the Godspeed Racing

Interestingly, the junior category riders have also done well in the earlier rounds. “There are at least 10 riders on the grid, which is very encouraging. What surprised me is that they are riding like any other senior in fray. They are taking the jumps with so much confidence,” said Shyam.

“The Joker Lane, a tricky segment introduced last year, will test the skill of the riders this year as well,” he added.
