Stage 8 cut short by 73 km due to continued bad weather conditions and rising river bed water levels that riders had to cross. At 174 Km, Checkpoint 1 rally had to be stopped and riders guided to use a link road to connect to second part of the special stage.
Hero Motorsports Team Rally rider CS Santosh had a great day at the office and finished the stage in 47th position. He also improved his overall ranking and is in 63rd position.
