In a major disappointment for Indian motorsport fans, CS Santosh form Hero MotoSports Rally Team is out of the Dakar Rally 2019.
The Indian rider in his fifth attempt in the Dakar Rally has been forced out after a crash in stage 5, was in promising 51th position after the fourth stage
Santosh suffering a nasty crash, unable to continue to ride to the end of the stage. The rider was airlifted to a hospital in Tacna, where he is being treated for injuries.
This is his second retirement after 2016. All three Hero MotoSports riders fell at some point but only Santosh was not be able to get back on the bike and ride off.
Aravind KP from Sherco-TVS Rally Team is the only Indian rider left in Dakar 2019 was at 53 th position after the Day-5
