The championship which was held post 6 pm at Pyramid Lawns in Pune’s Koregaon Park area saw a huge audience full of riders and motorcycling enthusiasts.With huge crowds last year, the CEAT Pune Invitational Supercross League had even more fans following the 2014 event. The Supercross had a 3-city league format which began with its First round in Nasik, Second in Kolhapur and had its Final round in Pune.
With 8 teams consisting of top 40 riders from India, the championship is a Benchmark in motocross events in the country. International riders such as Alexander Ivanyutin from Russia, Dennis Stapleton and Ricky Yorks from USA and Anthony Reynard from South Africa had arrived in the city for this huge event.
A kid category, the MX-J Category has also been introduced. The MX-J Category of racing is for juniors under the age of 15 years riding 65cc and 85cc bikes on the same track as the professionals
