Thrissur: Indian motocross icon C.D Jiian’s brother jith killed as car plunges into canal at Manakody in Thrissur, Kerala
The car lost control and plunged into a canal at Manakody in early Sunday. One of the deceased has been identified as Jithu while the other is yet to be identified.
A morning walker was the first to identify the fallen car in the canal. In the search conducted thereafter a body was found on the rear seat of the car.
The Fireforce personnel who reached the spot later located one more body floating in the canal. Local people along with fire force and the police, suspecting more persons to be trapped inside the car are conducting search operations.
