KTM’s Orange Day returns to Mumbai on October 27, 2013, at the Malad East Inorbit Mall location. Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM is set to get its owners in to participate in an action-packed head-to-head racing event  last Sunday.

KTM 200 and 390 Duke owners will get a chance to unleash their motorcycles in a safe, controlled environment as they take their bikes to the limit and compete with their contemporaries. KTM has also set up a service camp for its bikes, as well as Power Wear and Power Parts stalls.

The event  started at 9.00am with the riders registering themselves for a performance session. A classroom session was organized by an expert on the how to extract the most out of their KTM Duke. This was followed up by a demonstration on the track and an opportunity for the riders to experience their bikes. There were separate races organized for the 200 Duke customers as well as the 390 Duke customers. Also there was special category race to encourage the non-KTM riders. Podium finishers were awarded. All the KTM owners in the city were invited to participate in the Orange Day.

Another highlight of the show was the unveiling of KTM’s Superbike the RC8 1190R. Besides all the action on the track there was service-camps, stalls for KTM Power wear and Power parts, refreshments, music and a general ambience of fun and camaraderie.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Amit Nandi (KTM India Head) said “The KTM brand has its roots in racing and we want KTM owners to experience the thrills that a KTM bike can provide on a race track. Orange days are being conducted in every major city and will keep on growing in scale in the next few months. KTM is an exclusive premium brand and we are keen to ensure we provide KTM customers an experience that is uniquely KTM.”

Like most Orange Days, KTM will also display its 1190 RC8-R superbike and 350 SX-f off-road motorcycle as an added attraction in Mumbai. KTM continues to reach out to its patrons in Mumbai, Pune, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Indore, Jaipur, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi and Mysore have witnessed this event before in their respective cities.
