Panaji, July 29, 2022: The Twilight Zone of RFC India 2022 is finally over and as expected, it changed the entire scoreboard. While Satish Kumar and co-driver Chethan Chengappa from Karnataka managed to hold on to their first position with 1435 points out of 1900, Kabir Waraich and Dushyant Khosla from Chandigarh climbed up one spot to grab the second position with 1408 points. N Abinav Reddy and Vishuthi Varun from Telangana also rose up one spot to grab the third position with 1314 points.
As per the provisional results of Day 5 of RFC India 2022, Dattaraj Raut Dessai and Siddesh Yadav Naik from Goa were at the fourth position with 1306 points while Dr Chaitanya Challa and Pradeep Kumar from Telangana were at the fifth position with 1175 points.
In a major twist, The Twilight Zone of the mega motorsport event this year also included three Special Stages (SS). Traditionally, RFC India’s Twilight Zone requires the competitors to enter an uncharted territory from one point and to exit from another point within a specified time period. However, this year they had to also finish three challenges while they were in the Twilight Zone.
Dr Mohammed Fahed VP and co-driver Rajeev Lal from Kerala, who were at the top position for the initial three days of the competition, could not take part in any of the SS on Day 5. As a result, they slid down to the sixth position in the competition.
