Hero MotoSports Team Rally rider, two-time Dakar Rally finisher CS Santosh Given a 35 mins penalty for missing a checkpoint and dropping to third position after leading the entire rally. TVS Racing rider Abdul Wahid Tanveer in the second position
Santosh says “I am indeed very lucky to have the best team behind me. It’s unfortunate however that we incurred a time penalty on the last transport from the end of the stage to the finish of the Rally at the hotel. Heart broken that we now settle for a 3rd place at the Rally nevertheless ”
