Preetham Gubbi’s upcoming film, Nannu Mathu Varalakshmi. starring Prithvi and Mollywood actress Malavika Mohanan, revolves life of a Motocross rider A real motocross track was built for the purpose of shooting near Nagavara in Bengaluru.
Top motocross champions took part in the shooting for the film including national motocross champion KP Aravind, two-time Privateer Dirt Track champion MS Prince, 2013 Privateer Supercross champion Gaurav Khatri, Sri Lankan supercross champion Ishan Dasanayke and Dubai motocross champions Alex Mulpass and Mitchel Mulpass. Motocross champion C Vijay Kumar is guiding Preetham and team in their efforts at the first Kannada film with motocross as the backdrop
Speaking about the shoot experience, Preetham says, “There is an existing dirt race track on the Thanisandra Main Road, but we added special sand and redesigned it so that we can shoot high-action sequences. We enlisted the help of national champion Vijay Kumar to help us make the scenes look as authentic as possible.”
Speaking about the bikes, Vijay says, “We got eight dirt bikes, each costing almost `10 lakh and flew in top racers from the country and across the world as well, including national champion Aravind KP and the Malpass brothers from the UK.”
