The second round of the 2016 Malaysian Superbike championship turned out much superior to Round 1 for Indian Superbike Champion, Rajini Krishnan.
Race 1 was forgettable, however. Rajini ended up in second position when the race was stopped because of rain on the seventh lap. When it was restarted, the Indian rider was ahead of the pack of the race when he crashed out.
The second race was better however. Rajini was in second place when the race was stopped on the fifth lap. On the restart however, he was doing combating for the lead, at the end of the day needed to settle for a third place.
