Sherco TVS Racing riders fastest in Stage 5 of Merzouga Rally 2017 Aravind KP finished on 23rd position and Abdul Wahid Tanveer climbed up to 25th position while CS Santosh in 39th position
CS Santosh started the stage well, but he crashed. The fact that he lost time due to this meant that he ended the stage in 39th position. “The Marathon stage is generally the turning point of any cross country any rally. For me the marathon stage started alright but a couple of crashes and navigations errors hampered my performance. I wasn’t feeling too good with the bike and found that I had some damage there. My focus was to bring it home today and get it in shape for the last stage tomorrow.” CS Santosh said
Stage 6 – Final stage will see all riders kick off the day together in what will be a motocross-styled start. Throttling out for over 50 Kms of pure dunes, will be a final test for riders navigational skills and physical stamina
