Impulse is not a commercial success motorcycle Hero stopped production of the Impulse quite some time back due to poor demand of normal users. But Indian Dirt bike riders recognized the potential of impulse and most of riders using this bike in dirt track competitions in India
The Impulse’s 149.2cc engine has always felt a bit underpowered but an expert dirt bike mechanic can increase power on demand or Hero Impulse with a fix up 223cc engine from Hero’s Karizma
The Impulse’s engine is substantially the same as the CBZ X-Treme but it wears a new cam, a new balancer shaft and a different carb spec which all make it very different from the Hunk/CBZX/Unicorn/Dazzler
