The organizers of the Dakar rally have been forced to decide to cancel the special stage 9 scheduled Monday, January 15 between Tupiza and Salta.
The harsh weather conditions that have prevailed for several days do not allow the assistance teams, after a demanding marathon stage, to put the race vehicles in condition for tomorrow’s stage.
All vehicles of the Dakar will therefore join the bivouac of Salta by a road route. The competition will resume with stage 10 between Salat and Belen.
