The 2017 Dakar Rally is in progress, and stage one was finished effectively by both Indian riders, CS Santosh and Aravind KP
In stage 2 Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team rider Aravind KP has had an unfortunate accident, resulting in two fractures in his left hand.
The unfortunate incident took place just one kilometer from the finish line, when a slower rider cut across, leading to a crash
Aravind will keep riding, and won’t give the harm a chance to keep him from completing his first Dakar.
At the end of Stage two, Aravind KP managed to finish at 127th position and lies 125th overall, while fellow Indian rider CS Santosh had a very good day He finished the second stage in 41st position and made good progress in the overall rankings and is in 39th position overall.
