Aravind KP climbed 2 places in the final stage to finish at 26th overall in the OiLibya Rally of Morocco. Having completed the rally, Aravind now qualifies to ride for the Sherco-TVS Rally team at Dakar 2017. His position in the 450 cc class is also up 2 places at 17th position and the FIM rank including quad bikes is 19th.
Aravind says “I am thrilled to complete this rally. Every stage was quite challenging, physically and mentally but I managed to use all the training experience especially while navigating to stay in the race. Also the Sherco-TVS engineers ensured my motorcycle didn’t face any major issues. This rally was a fantastic learning ground and now Dakar is next.”
Aravind’s teammates Joan Pedrero & Adrien Metge also had a successful outing at the OiLibya Rally of Morocco, finishing overall 8th and 11th respectively.
